Principal Investigator:
Patrick Rask, MD
Dr. Rask has been actively involved in the area of clinical
research since 2000. Before that he has been an attending emergency physician in various hospitals in the Portland Metropolitan
area. He graduated in 1994 from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship
in Portland at Good Samaritan/Emanuel Hospitals in 1995. He then completed a three year Emergency Medicine Residency at St.
John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He passed the written and oral emergency medicine boards in 1999. Dr. Rask is the full-time
Principal Investigator for New Hope Research Of Oregon dedicated to providing the best care in clinical research possible.

Chief Clinical Coordinator:
Michelle Manhart, RN
Ms. Manhart's professional experience includes over 12 years in the clinical
research services field. Prior to founding New Hope Research Of Oregon, Ms. Manhart was a major officer in other clinical
trial research companies in Oregon and Arizona. Ms. Manhart's areas of expertise include strategic business growth and development,
marketing and the day-to-day business of running a successful research organization. She holds a BSN in nursing from the University
of Oregon School of Nursing.
Clinical Coordinator:
Melissa Keaton, MA
Ms.
Keaton joined New Hope Research as coordinator in early 2003 and assumed the chief coordinating duties shortly thereafter.
Her professional background includes experience in both private and public sector healthcare. Prior to her work with New Hope
Research of Oregon, she served as extern various other healthcare groups in the Portland Metropolitan area. As clinical
coordinator, Ms. Keaton is responsible for clinical, data acquisition and administrative functions.
